RGA seeks to support providers with electronic claim submission to ensure secure EDI commerce for the mutual benefit of our consumer-patients. We work with provider-submitters to process most ANSI HIPAA transactions, including:

  • Claim/Encounter Submission (837/Professional, Dental, Institutional)
  • Claim Status Inquiry/Response (276/277)
  • Eligibility Inquiry/Response (270/271)

RGA has the capability to process and respond to these transactions; however our ability to respond is dependent upon the receipt of clean transmissions between your clearinghouse and RGA's clearinghouse. Our primary clearinghouse is Availity and our payer ID is HMA01.
